Four early voting sites will be in
operation beginning at 8 a.m. Aug. 23 as weather permits. The
sites in operation will be the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S.
Beach St., City Island Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., New Smyrna Beach
Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway and the DeLand Historic Courthouse, 125
W. New York Ave. This will be the last opportunity for early voting
prior for the Aug. 26 election.

SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS ADDS FIFTH
EARLY VOTING SITE
Due to the expectation of a large turnout for the November 4,
2008 General Election, Supervisor Ann McFall, in cooperation
with the Volusia County Library System, has added a fifth Early
Voting Site to accommodate voters for the Primary and General
elections of 2008. This site will be located at the Ormond Beach
Regional Library.
Voters are able to cast a ballot prior to Election Day at any
designated early voting site set up throughout the county no
matter where their precinct is located. This has become popular
over the years for voters who do not work close to their home
precinct or may be out of town on Election Day.
Early Voting hours of operation will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday through Saturday.
Early Voting dates are as follows:
August 11, 2008 – August 23, 2008
(In anticipation of the August 26, 2008 Primary Election)
October 20, 2008 – November 1, 2008
(In anticipation of the November 4 General Election)
