Carrie Baird chaired the meeting and presented draft information for the invitation to the workshop.
Discussion ensued regarding the agenda for the workshop. The decision was made to solicit input from the agency stakeholders regarding developing health and human service priorities, desired outcomes for Volusia County, input about potential improvements to the application and funding process, and priority needs and gaps in services.
The sub-committee also developed the agenda for the workshop. Discussion included the importance of leveraging dollars and maximizing revenue.
The agenda will include reviewing the process, the application, the application process, reporting, and the allocation process.
The sub-committee plans to meet again on November 1 or 2.
