TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL/TOURISM CONSORTIUM TO MEET AUGUST 5

The Volusia County Tourist Development Council (TDC) will meet at 9 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, in the boardroom at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.
A meeting of the Volusia Tourism Consortium immediately will follow the TDC meeting.

The board is scheduled to receive financial and progress reports on the expansion project and Ocean Center marketing and sales. The Hotel-Motel Association and area convention and visitor’s bureaus and advertising authorities also will provide updates.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in the proceedings should contact the Ocean Center for assistance at least two business days before the date of the meeting.
