EMS MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD TO MEET AUG. 13
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Medical Advisory Board will meet
at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Volusia Room at the Daytona Beach
International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive, Daytona Beach.
The group is scheduled to discuss interfacing of EMS services with
the emergency department, an influenza immunization agreement with the
Volusia County Health Department, transmittal of ECGs by pre-hospital
services, and receipt of patient care information by pre-hospital
personnel.
The purpose of the Medical Advisory Board is to advise the county
medical director and EMS division on EMS system issues, including
pre-hospital patient care protocols, research initiatives, hospital
emergency department interface issues, and new technologies and clinical
procedures.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida
