CULTURAL COUNCIL TO MEET JULY 25

The Cultural Council of Volusia County will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, July 25, at the Art League of Daytona Beach, 433 S. Palmetto Ave.

Updates on current public art projects will be provided, and a new public arts selection committee for the Historic Courthouse Plaza Chess Park project will be established. Other agenda items include Community Cultural Grant Award recommendations for fiscal year 2008-2009 and a report from the June workshop regarding Community Cultural Grant eligibility for festival organizations. The public is invited to attend, and time will be made available for public input.
