HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD JULY 22 MEETING CANCELED

Volusia County’s Historic Preservation Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, has been canceled. The next meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the S.E. Volusia Historical Society Museum, 120 Sams Ave., New Smyrna Beach.

The public is invited to attend, and time will be available for public input.

The Historic Preservation Board inventories, designates and regulates historic resources in unincorporated areas of Volusia County. The board also fosters public awareness of the county’s history and advises the Volusia County Council on matters related to historic preservation policy.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida statutes, persons with disabilities who need special accommodation to participate in the proceedings should request assistance at least two business days before the meeting.
